The science behind the EODD diet
The EODD diet is variation a calorie shifting diet that uses your favorite foods to boost your metabolism for fat burning. The idea of calorie shifting is simple. You have a base amount of calories you can consume in given time period, usually a week. This base is generated by taking the total weekly calories one would need in order to maintain their weight and then reducing it so that they can achieve weight loss. This approach allows a dieter to shift those calories around, some days eating more and some days eating less. This stops the body from plateauing, boosts the metabolism and increases weight loss. The EODD diet takes these principals and then adds a wonderful twist.

The EODD diet uses your favorite foods interspersed with low calorie days to achieve this calorie shifting. In other words you are never more than 24 hours away from your favorite foods. It is quite a unique approach and the EODD diet addresses several problems that traditional diets suffer from.
