Ribbon Nutrition, a vitamin and supplement company created to help fund non-profit organizations, is announcing a new Affiliate Fund-Raising Program for non-profit organizations. The company donates 30% of the shopper's purchase from their on-line store to non-profits.
Based on an understanding of the difficulties of non-profit fund-raising and the personal desire of the founders to make a difference in ending Breast Cancer, Ribbon Nutrition has created an Affiliate Fund-Raising Program (AFRP) as a means to help raise money for non-profit organizations and to educate and empower individuals in the fight against Breast Cancer.
The purpose of Ribbon Nutrition’s AFRP is to provide Breast Cancer, Cancer, Health, Women’s, and Environmentally-oriented non-profit organizations of all sizes the ability to raise additional funds without having to spend existing resources to do it. The program offers non-profit organizations the opportunity to directly raise money through a “click-through†link placed on their website. Each time a member clicks over to the Ribbon Nutrition website, their “click-through†is linked back to the non-profit organization. From there, Ribbon Nutrition will donate 30% of the shopper’s total purchase to non-profit organizations. Ribbon Nutrition’s AFRP has several other unique features. A pitfall of many affiliate programs is that they work the first time when a member “clicks-through,†but do not continue to raise money for the organization when members go back to the website for a subsequent purchase. To address this, Ribbon Nutrition created a system where shoppers cannot purchase Ribbon Nutrition products on their website without “clicking-through†a non-profit organization or choosing a non-profit organization that their purchase will benefit. The logos and websites of the participating non-profit organizations are displayed on the Ribbon Nutrition website for the shopper to choose from and can be viewed at ribbonnutrition.com/locate/locate.php.
Ribbon Nutrition’s Affiliate Fund-Raising Program is also designed to offer more than just supplements. Each purchase from the site in October will also include a free subscription to the natural lifestyle magazine inPink as well as other educational materials on diet, nutrition, and other lifestyle factors that may help prevent Breast Cancer.
